Goldman Sachs is looking for a software development professional to enhance the Slang SDLC workflow on its SecDb platform. The role involves collaborating with various teams to improve user experience and deliver solutions rapidly. Ideal candidates have a technical degree and solid programming skills, with a chance to contribute significantly in a dynamic environment.
SDLC & RUNTIME
We develop and support SDLC platforms and services to our 17,000 engineers worldwide, enabling them to deliver software for their business. Increasingly the firm relies on technology to achieve its commercial goals and deliver value to shareholders through innovative technology solutions. WHAT SLANG SDLC IS
Securities Database, known as SecDb, is the backbone of Goldman Sachs’ risk analytics platform for securities. The development of this proprietary software system marked a significant milestone in Goldman Sachs’ technological history. SecDb continues to be a strategic, critical platform for the Firm that we will continue to invest in for the foreseeable future. Slang stands for Securities Language - it is the language of SecDb. It is used by thousands of GS engineers worldwide, with 1500 production releases per day on average. It's our hyper-converged SDLC that supports this rapid development cycle, which our front office businesses rely on.
