We are looking for a talented Copywriter with strong bilingual skills in English and Mandarin to craft compelling, accurate, and engaging content for our global audience. You will play a key role in shaping our brand voice across multiple platforms, creating content that resonates with both Western and Chinese-speaking communities.
This role requires someone who understands the fast-evolving landscape of digital assets, fintech, and emerging technology, and can translate complex concepts into clear, persuasive copy.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Copywriting Write, edit, and localize copy for websites, landing pages, and product descriptions. Draft engaging content for social media (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Telegram, Discord, WeChat, Weibo). Produce marketing collateral including press releases, newsletters, and campaign taglines. Support content for product guides, research articles, and thought leadership pieces.
- Bilingual Communication Translate and adapt English content into Mandarin Chinese with accuracy and cultural nuance. Localize marketing campaigns for Chinese-speaking markets (Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore). Ensure tone of voice and brand messaging remain consistent across both languages.
- Campaign & Brand Support Collaborate with marketing, BD, and design teams to develop narratives for global campaigns. Assist in crafting copy for co-marketing initiatives with ecosystem partners (financial platforms, payment providers, digital product companies). Monitor competitor campaigns and industry trends for inspiration and benchmarking.
- Community Engagement Support announcements, webinars, and events with tailored bilingual messaging. Adapt copy for different cultural contexts to maximize engagement and trust.
Requirements
- Native or fluent proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and strong proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
- 2–4 years of experience in copywriting, marketing communications, or journalism (digital assets/fintech/technology experience strongly preferred).
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear, persuasive copy.
- Familiarity with Chinese social media platforms (WeChat, Weibo, Little Red Book) and global platforms (Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Telegram).
- Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and storytelling ability.
Nice to Have
- Experience writing for both institutional (B2B) and consumer (B2C) audiences.
- Familiarity with SEO, keyword optimization, and content analytics.
- Understanding of compliance considerations in financial communications.
- A portfolio showcasing bilingual copywriting work (Mandarin + English).
