Coordinator, Project assistant and Office assistant under E-YUVA
    AdvertisementApplications are invited for the said positions under E-YUVA, Panjab University,Chandigarh. The candidates will be appointed initially for 1 year or till the tenure of theproject, whichever is earlier. However, the posts can be extended on the basis of evaluationafter completion of the tenure, if the project is extended. The posts are purely temporary andco-terminus with the project. There shall be no financial liability on the part of theUniversity, after the termination of the project. The incumbent shall have no claimwhatsoever for the regularization of his/her services.1. Coordinator/ Manager (Upper age limit = 50 years)Essential Qualifications:Ph.D. in any subject of life sciences or M.Sc.-MBA or M. Sc. in any subject of lifesciences with minimum 5 years of experience. Preference will be given to candidateshaving relevant experience in project handling and/or entrepreneurship developmentprograms withKnowledge of Technology Transfer.Knowledge of GeM portal.Candidates having granted/filed patents.Desirable qualifications:E-tendering of instrument purchasesMaintaining the upkeep of the E-YUVA Centre.An overall understanding of the process of bio-incubation.Enhancing the visibility of the Centre.Handling of scientific equipment and interpretation of results.Facilitating scientific liaison between E-YUVA fellows/ innovators, mentors &industry.Hand holding the E-YUVA fellows/ innovators.Helping the budding entrepreneurs in developing proposals for raising funds.Emoluments: - Rs. 75,000/- (fixed) per month)2. Project Assistant (Upper age limit = 32 years)Essential Qualifications:M.Sc./ M. Tech. in any subject of Life Sciences such as Biotechnology, Microbiology,Biochemistry, Microbial Biotechnology, Biophysics or any other related area.Preference will be given to candidates with 3 years of experience in individual projecthandling, scientific report writing and hands on experience on bioinstrumentation.Desirable Qualifications:Individual project handlingScientific report writingUndertaking scientific and technical tasksHelping E-YUVA fellows/ innovators and scientific staff in their projectsEmoluments: - Rs. 25,000/- (fixed) per month3. Office Assistant (Upper age limit = 30 years):Essential Qualifications:Bachelor of Science/ Technology / Engineering / Arts.
