As Cook/Demi Chef, your passion for presentation and dedication to delivering flavour will complete each guest’s experience. By taking pride in your workspace, keeping your standards high, and giving our menu the benefit of your expertise, you’ll create some of our guests’ most lasting memories.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Recycle whenever possible and enforce cost-saving measures among staff.
  • Adhere to occupational health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Familiarize yourself with property safety, first aid, and fire emergency procedures, ensuring safe equipment operation.
  • Initiate corrective actions for hazardous situations and notify supervisors of potential dangers.
  • Log security incidents and accidents per hotel requirements.
  • Communicate difficulties, guest feedback, and relevant information to superiors.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees.
  • Attend and participate in daily briefings, meetings, and training sessions as scheduled.
  • Provide input for probation and formal performance appraisal discussions according to company guidelines.
  • Prepare, cook, serve, and store a variety of dishes, maintaining quality standards.
  • Communicate politely and display courtesy to guests and internal customers.
  • Prepare food, beverages, materials, and equipment needed for service in advance.

What do we need from you?

  • Ideally you have a Diploma in Culinary Management and is passionate about Western/Italian Cuisines or have at least 1 year of experience working in a Western/Italian Cuisine based Kitchen.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation.
  • Patient and responsible to solve all problems.
  • Able to work under great physical and mental pressure.
