An established restaurant in Singapore is seeking a Chinese cuisine chef specializing in Northeastern and Sichuan cuisines. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience creating authentic dishes and handmade dumplings. Responsibilities include designing new menus based on customer preferences, maintaining hygiene standards, and preparing inventory management reports. A passion for Chinese cuisine and culinary creativity are essential for this role.
We are looking for a Chinese cuisine chef who is able to prepare and cook high-quality Chinese Northeastern cuisine, Sichuan cuisine, and other Chinese cuisines. Experience in making handmade Chinese dumplings, xiao long bao, noodles, and other Chinese stir-fry dishes is a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience locally or internationally.
- Study recipes, set up, and design new menus.
- Maintain hygiene standards of the restaurant and workspace.
- Create new cuisines based on customer requests.
- Prepare inventory and costing management reports for the general manager.
- Additional duties may be required.
