Job Description
1. Prepare meals and snacks according to the centre's menu plan.
2. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen, adhering to regulations and guidelines.
3. Assist in planning menus that meet nutritional requirements and are appealing to children.
4. Clean and maintain the kitchen, including equipment, utensils, and storage areas.
5. Manage food inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
Requirement
1. Previous experience in cooking for children or in a similar setting.
2. Possesses a valid Food Safety Certification (e.g. WSQ Apply Food Safety Fundamentals or equivalent).
3. Understanding of nutrition principles and meal planning for children.
4. Able to work as a team.
