Job description

We are seeking a talented and versatile Cook to join our team at Funky Monkey, a kids café serving a fun Western menu, including nuggets, bites, pizzas, and pastas. This role involves managing kitchen operations at Funky Monkey and assisting the Head Chef at Kapitan in preparing authentic Eastern European cuisine.

Kindly note our kitchen is non-halal

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of Dishes: Ensure the quality and consistency of Funky Monkey's menu and Eastern European dishes.
2. Kitchen Stock and Inventory: Manage stock, ingredients, and inventory efficiently.
3. Menu Revamp: Collaborate with the team to refresh and update the menu regularly.
4. Kitchen Staff Supervision: Oversee and guide kitchen helpers to maintain smooth operations.
5. Research and Development: Contribute to creating new dishes and experimenting with flavors.
6. Fusion Dish Ideas: Suggest innovative fusion dishes to enhance the dining experience.

Requirements:

• Have quota for Malaysian workers and available work permit quota.

Work Hours/Days:

• 10 am - 10 pm, split shifts. 6 days per week.
