About the role

AT LAW PRACTICE LLP' is seeking a skilled and experienced Conveyancing Secretary to join our team in Singapore. As a Conveyancing Secretary, you will play a vital role in supporting our real estate lawyers throughout the property transaction process, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of Private or HDB property matters. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative legal environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing administrative support to conveyancing lawyers, including preparing and processing legal documentation, managing client communication, and organising meetings and appointments

  • Assisting with the completion of property transactions, liaising with relevant authorities, and coordinating the exchange and completion of contracts

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all conveyancing matters, including client information, property details, and transaction timelines

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies throughout the conveyancing process

  • Offering exceptional customer service to clients, providing updates and addressing any queries or concerns

  • Collaborating with the wider team to streamline processes and identify opportunities for improvement

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a conveyancing or legal secretarial role, preferably within a law firm

  • Strong knowledge of property law, conveyancing procedures, and relevant regulations in Singapore

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients

  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

  • Proficient in using office productivity software, such as Microsoft Office, and experience with legal practice management systems

  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

  • A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
