About the role
AT LAW PRACTICE LLP' is seeking a skilled and experienced Conveyancing Secretary to join our team in Singapore. As a Conveyancing Secretary, you will play a vital role in supporting our real estate lawyers throughout the property transaction process, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of Private or HDB property matters. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative legal environment.
What you'll be doing
Providing administrative support to conveyancing lawyers, including preparing and processing legal documentation, managing client communication, and organising meetings and appointments
Assisting with the completion of property transactions, liaising with relevant authorities, and coordinating the exchange and completion of contracts
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all conveyancing matters, including client information, property details, and transaction timelines
Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies throughout the conveyancing process
Offering exceptional customer service to clients, providing updates and addressing any queries or concerns
Collaborating with the wider team to streamline processes and identify opportunities for improvement
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years of experience in a conveyancing or legal secretarial role, preferably within a law firm
Strong knowledge of property law, conveyancing procedures, and relevant regulations in Singapore
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients
Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
Proficient in using office productivity software, such as Microsoft Office, and experience with legal practice management systems
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
