Job Opening: Store Manager for a Chain of Stores
Responsibilities include:
- Managing 24-hour convenience stores with a focus on retail operations.
- Possessing a diploma, preferably in Business Studies, Hospitality, Logistics, Retail, or Technical Studies.
- Demonstrating strong customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Exhibiting confident leadership and team-building abilities.
- Experience with retail technology, including PDA and SAP Logistics System.
- Willingness to work long hours, travel, manage multiple stores, and work shifts including nights.
- Training and supervising new staff.
- Being business-oriented and self-motivated to excel.
Job Scope:
- Operate and manage a chain of convenience stores.
- Manage retail teams to achieve sales and profit goals.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to store policies and SOPs.
Customer Service and Personal Attributes:
- Maintain a positive approach to customer service, including politeness and promptness.
- Understand and promptly address customer requirements.
- Handle customer incidents according to company policies.
- Maintain procedures for inquiries, complaints, and incidents.
- Provide accurate information to customers.
- Comply with health, safety, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain personal hygiene, discipline, honesty, punctuality, and responsibility standards.
- Perform sales via POS and handle various payment modes.
- Ensure legal compliance related to expiry dates, legal age, food safety, and sales time limits.
- Conduct promotions, upselling, pricing, and labelling.
- Maintain store cleanliness and upkeep standards.
Logs Operations, Inventory Management, and Storage:
- Use retail technology such as PDA, PC, logistics tracking, electronic delivery notes, LITE POS, SAP Enterprise System.
- Manage supply chain operations, liaising with warehouses and suppliers.
- Analyze sales, inventory, ordering patterns, wastage, and losses.
- Perform physical receiving, storage, re-stacking, and expiry checks.
- Handle system-based receiving and packing functions, including documentation.
- Support stock-takes and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow health, safety, and company regulations, including proper use of Material Handling Equipment and FIFO principles.
Ordering, Expiry & Inventory Management:
- Analyze stock requirements and support ordering processes.
- Communicate with suppliers and review procurement regulations.
- Use inventory systems to monitor levels and movements.
- Review inventory reports and process orders accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, health, safety, and company policies.
Salary Range: from 3000 to 3200 per month.
