Job Opening: Store Manager for a Chain of Stores

Responsibilities include:

  1. Managing 24-hour convenience stores with a focus on retail operations.
  2. Possessing a diploma, preferably in Business Studies, Hospitality, Logistics, Retail, or Technical Studies.
  3. Demonstrating strong customer service skills.
  4. Excellent communication skills in English.
  5. Exhibiting confident leadership and team-building abilities.
  6. Experience with retail technology, including PDA and SAP Logistics System.
  7. Willingness to work long hours, travel, manage multiple stores, and work shifts including nights.
  8. Training and supervising new staff.
  9. Being business-oriented and self-motivated to excel.

Job Scope:

  1. Operate and manage a chain of convenience stores.
  2. Manage retail teams to achieve sales and profit goals.
  3. Ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to store policies and SOPs.

Customer Service and Personal Attributes:

  1. Maintain a positive approach to customer service, including politeness and promptness.
  2. Understand and promptly address customer requirements.
  3. Handle customer incidents according to company policies.
  4. Maintain procedures for inquiries, complaints, and incidents.
  5. Provide accurate information to customers.
  6. Comply with health, safety, and emergency procedures.
  7. Maintain personal hygiene, discipline, honesty, punctuality, and responsibility standards.
  8. Perform sales via POS and handle various payment modes.
  9. Ensure legal compliance related to expiry dates, legal age, food safety, and sales time limits.
  10. Conduct promotions, upselling, pricing, and labelling.
  11. Maintain store cleanliness and upkeep standards.

Logs Operations, Inventory Management, and Storage:

  1. Use retail technology such as PDA, PC, logistics tracking, electronic delivery notes, LITE POS, SAP Enterprise System.
  2. Manage supply chain operations, liaising with warehouses and suppliers.
  3. Analyze sales, inventory, ordering patterns, wastage, and losses.
  4. Perform physical receiving, storage, re-stacking, and expiry checks.
  5. Handle system-based receiving and packing functions, including documentation.
  6. Support stock-takes and ensure inventory accuracy.
  7. Follow health, safety, and company regulations, including proper use of Material Handling Equipment and FIFO principles.

Ordering, Expiry & Inventory Management:

  1. Analyze stock requirements and support ordering processes.
  2. Communicate with suppliers and review procurement regulations.
  3. Use inventory systems to monitor levels and movements.
  4. Review inventory reports and process orders accordingly.
  5. Ensure compliance with SOPs, health, safety, and company policies.

Salary Range: from 3000 to 3200 per month.
