A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced Electrical/Instrument Engineer. The role involves designing networks, programming PLCs, and troubleshooting customer equipment in the Semiconductor, Nutrition, and Oil & Gas industries. Ideal candidates will have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
· Degree/Diploma in Electrical / Instrument Engineering or equivalent in a technical discipline
· At least 5 years of service / programming experience with excellent troubleshooting skills in Semiconductor, Nutrition, and Oil & Gas industries
· Knowledge and experience with Allen Bradley, SIEMENS, Honeywell, and Schneider Electric automation software such as Studio 5000, FactoryTalk, SIMATIC S7, Experion, Wonderware, etc.
· Knowledge and experience with instrumentation and electrical control
· Knowledge of Cyber Security requirements
· Knowledge in Control Panel Designing, EPlan, AutoCAD
· Reliability, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure
· Result-oriented and creative in problem-solving skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical issues and solutions effectively
· Independent, highly disciplined individual and an excellent team player
Functions
· Design networks, carry out PLC Programming & SCADA Development
· Perform technical, hands-on work including installation, commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting
· Coordinate both internal and external resources to reach FAT on time
· Identify machine faults and troubleshoot customer equipment, proposing corrective and preventive actions to increase equipment uptime
· Achieve final customer acceptance, establish, and follow up on open issues
· Prepare On-Site Reports, Service Reports, Hour Reports, Expense Reports, and other documentation
