Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for repair and testing of various valves, including but not limited to Neles ball, butterfly, globe control valves etc.

• Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly and testing of various valves at our Sicom facilities and client locations.

• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to valve maintenance and repair and FAT

• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment for control valve repair and calibrations.

• Ability to read and follow technical drawings, schematics, and manuals and comply with company quality control procedures.

• Thoroughly complete all documentation associated with testing and repairs.

• Ability to travel to job sites and adhere to all site safety and performance requirements.

• Communicate timely work order updates to service coordinator to ensure timely and successful completion of job.

• Works closely with co-workers, management and HSE Coordinator to ensure safety of themselves and that of others.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least High School / Diploma or higher.

• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

• Ability to read and follow technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

• Have knowledge for disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly and testing of various valves.

• Have the ability to use hand tools, power tools, and special equipment for the repair and calibration of control valves.

• Have an understanding of B3 waste.
