Job description

We're seeking a skilled GNC Engineer to lead the development of advanced underwater systems, combining technical leadership with hands-on expertise in GNC. You'll oversee complex system design, integration, and optimization, while developing and implementing robust GNC solutions for subsea environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead system design and integration across the full lifecycle
• Plan and manage system-level trials, including experimentation and validation
• Develop and validate GNC algorithms for underwater platforms
• Drive technical leadership across disciplines, ensuring cohesive system development
• Conduct system analysis and troubleshooting
• Balance performance, cost, and risk, identifying and mitigating technical risks
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and contractual requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in Control Engineering or related field
• Experience in complex system design, integration, and validation (preferably underwater or autonomous)
• Expertise in GNC, control theory, state estimation, and sensor fusion
• Proficiency in modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) and programming languages (C/C++)
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and documentation abilities
