Job description

Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors.
  2. Ensure the project stays within the projected budget plan.
  3. Manage and monitor project cash flow (Cash In / Cash Out).
  4. Manage and negotiate subcontracts.
  5. Monitor subcontractors to ensure compliance and adherence to project timelines.
  6. Draft contractual correspondence.
  7. Establish and maintain strong business relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, including managing contract enquiries, issues, disputes, variations, and finalization of accounts.
  8. Ensure timely finalization of accounts with clients and subcontractors.
  9. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
  10. Plan, prioritize, and organize work to meet goals and deadlines.
  11. Handle insurance claims and EOT claims.
  12. Provide leadership, advice, and support to staff within the team.
Requirements
  1. Degree or Diploma in Building or its equivalent.
  2. 10+ years of experience.
  3. Knowledge of cost economics is essential.
  4. Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration, and variation orders.
  5. Good team player and able to meet tight deadlines.
