Overview

Contracts Manager — Salary: $8000 to $9500 • Working Days: Mon - Fri | 8.30am - 6pm • Address: Ang Mo Kio

Responsibilities
  • Discuss, draft, review and negotiate the terms and conditions of the contracts with Client / Consultant / Main Contractor / Sub-contractors / Suppliers.
  • Responsible for the overall contract administration and liaison with the project managers and all relevant project staff on contractual matters including extension of time, contractual claims, variations, and any related loss and expense claims to the client and/or assessing and reviewing of extension of time, variations, and any related loss and expense claims by sub-contractors.
  • Provide contractual advisory to ensure the management, project managers and all relevant project staff to comply with contract obligations and procedures.
  • Identification and advisory of the contractual risk including propose measures to mitigate the exposure of these risks.
  • Well versed in PSSCOC, REDAS, SIA contractual legislations, and SOP Act.
  • Dealing with disputes on contractual matter amicably with the relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and prepare all contract documentation and agreement, as well as provide support in the drafting of contractual/dispute letter.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Contract Law or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in contract management for the construction industry
