Job summary

Job description

Position: Position: Contracts Manager
Location: Changi North
Working Days/Hours: 5 Days (8:30am - 5:30pm)
Salary: $3500 - $6000

Job Purpose

To lead the Contracts Department in managing all pre- and post-contract functions, including tendering, estimation, procurement, contract administration, cost control, cash flow monitoring, and dispute resolution to achieve project objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee tender documentation, measurement, and cost estimation processes.
  • Develop tender and procurement strategies for suppliers, subcontractors, and specialists.
  • Review cost estimations and monitor project cash flow and budget forecasts.
  • Approve payment responses, final accounts, and ensure effective post-contract administration.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure accurate billing and collection.
  • Advise on risk mitigation and dispute resolution strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Mentor and develop Quantity Surveyors within the department.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Contracts Administration or Quantity Surveying.
  • Strong knowledge in contracts management, cost control, and dispute resolution.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and good communication (verbal & written) skills.
  • Leadership qualities, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
