Job description

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors in bidding & post tenders
• Review /revise legal documents; correspondences; commercial agreements
• Support project teams in administering sub-contracts including progress payments, variation orders and contractual matters
• To evaluate and analyze sub-contractors’ pricings and award of sub contracts
• To prepare specification and sub contract documents with project team
• Manage delayed and disputed costs and variation claims
• Manage,strategize and assist in EOT claims
• To look out for tender opportunities and attend site show-rounds to tenders or visit site to understand the project site conditions.
• To undertake any other associated tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or equivalent
• Well-versed in construction contract terminology and contract law
• Minimum 12 years of relevant working experience with 6 years in contract and commercial management.
• Experience in projects with contract value in excess of $40 million.
