Job summary

Tuition Centre looking for Contract Teachers

Flexible working hours and good welfare

We understand some teachers with teaching experience do not wish to apply to be full-time teachers because of their age, physical condition, or personal affairs. You are welcome to try our contract system according to your own needs, choosing flexible working hours. We are in Bugis, a convenient location for all! For those with no experience, training will be provided!

Subjects:

Mandatory to be able to teach Primary and Secondary English + Math/Science

Requirement:

1. Our clients are mainly Chinese-based; therefore, candidates must be able to communicate fluently with Chinese parents in their Mother Tongue.
2. Applicants who do not speak Chinese will be considered if they possess the capability to teach English up to the tertiary level.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Love teaching job and have a sense of responsibility
2. Academic background: Diploma or above (Teaching experience is preferred)
3. Preferable can teach 2 or more subjects

The minimum contract period is 3 months, and you can match the following timetable:

Weekdays

1. Monday to Friday - 2:30pm to 6:30pm
2. Monday, Wednesday & Friday - 2:30pm to 6:30pm
3. Tuesday & Thursday - 12:30pm to 6:30pm

Weekends

1. Saturday & Sunday - 9:30am to 3:30pm
2. Saturday & Sunday - 1:30pm to 6:30pm

JOB SCOPE

1. Teaching
2. Course planning and preparation (course structure and basic materials are provided by Centre)
3. Academic material preparation
4. Student feedback
5. Homework marking
6. Academic assistance

TREATMENT

1. No teaching is required on Public Holidays
2. When the teaching hours are insufficient, the salary will not be deducted
3. If the teaching hours exceed, it shall be calculated according to OT
4. For a contract of more than one year, the teacher shall enjoy paid annual leave and variable bonus
5. Contract teachers are required to participate in the company's employee meetings or collective activities

JOB REQUIREMENT

1. Poly Diploma, equivalent or higher
2. Knowledge of Mandarin and English is essential for communication to all stakeholders
3. Basic IT knowledge is preferred, as we also conduct online lessons using online meeting applications (e.g., Tencent)
4. Highly responsible in their job
5. Patient and passionate in communicating with all students and parents
6. Eager and capable to learn and earnest
