Job description

Our hiring company is one of the leading commodity traders for metals in the region. Due to expansion, the Singapore office is looking for an experienced individual in the area of contract management to join its rank as a Contract Specialist Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist traders with the preparation of contract sheets within stipulated timelines.
  • Liaise with trading desk and structured finance team for preparation of contract sheets.
  • Review contract sheets for the company and liaise with legal counsel if required.
  • Prepare documents for registration of pledge/collateral.
  • Provide advice for other law-related issues of company operations.
  • Prepare monthly reports for both Company Management and Shareholders.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or higher, preferably Bachelor of Laws.
  • At least 2 years of Paralegal experience.
  • Knowledge of financial terms.
  • Basic understanding of logistics such as Incoterms.
  • General understanding of contract requirements for the Trading business.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
