A leading commodity trading conglomerate in Singapore is seeking an experienced Paralegal to assist with contract preparation and legal matters. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Law, a minimum of 2 years of experience, and knowledge of financial terms and logistics. Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Paralegal experience.
• General understanding of contract requirements for Trading business.

Responsibilities

• Assist traders with contract sheets preparation.
• Liaise with trading desk and legal counsel as needed.
• Prepare documents for registration of pledge/collateral.

The hiring company is one of the leading commodity trading conglomerates with a branch in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Assist traders with the preparation of contract sheets within stipulated timelines.
• Liaise with trading desk and structured finance team for preparation of contract sheets
• Review of contract sheets for company, and liaise with legal counsel if required.
• Prepare documents for registration of pledge/collateral
• Provision of advice for other law-related issues of company operations
• Preparation of monthly report for both Company Management and Shareholders.
• Liaison with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or higher, preferably Bachelor of Laws
• At least 2 years of Paralegal experience
• Knowledge on financial terms
• Basic understanding of logistics such as Incoterms
• General understanding of contract requirement for Trading business
• Ability to multitask and work in fast paced environment
