Job summary

Seacare Manpower Services Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Research Assistant to support psychology research projects, including trauma-informed policing and victim-support initiatives. You will help design study tools, conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses, prepare technical reports, and contribute to training materials for seminars and potential publications.

Strong written and spoken English, solid statistics skills, and the ability to handle confidential information are essential

Qualifications

• Degree in Psychology or related discipline.
• Experience in psychology, behavioural sciences or research.
• Experience in research and project management.
• Strong written and spoken English; good analytical skills.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support development and review of scam assessment and support programmes.
• Develop programme criteria and evaluation frameworks.
• Design and review research tools, including interviews, questionnaires and databases.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative data transcription, cleaning and analysis.
• Prepare technical and academic reports for internal and potential publication purposes.
• Develop presentation materials for training, seminars and conferences.
• Support trauma-informed practices in policing, particularly in victimology.
• Support training and assessment activities for relevant courses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Psychology or a relevant discipline.
• Experience in psychology, behavioural sciences, research or related fields; forensic or victim-support experience is advantageous.
• Experience in research and project management.
• Strong knowledge of statistics and proficiency in statistical software.
• Familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Strong written and spoken English with good analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches is advantageous.

Duration/Working hours:

1 year (Immediate)

42 hours per week
