Job summary

Flo Energy in Singapore is seeking a contract Product Designer to join our Technology team on a full-time, 6–12 month hybrid basis. We welcome bold ideas to reshape the clean energy landscape and position Flo as a premier renewable electricity retailer.

You will design end-to-end flows for customer-facing products and Canopy, own the design process from discovery through to developer-ready handoff, and work with product, engineering and operations to simplify complex workflows.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Product Designer or UI/UX Designer, ideally including B2B, SaaS, or internal tooling.
• Portfolio showcasing end-to-end product thinking and shipped product work—real flows, not just visuals.
• Own the full design process—from discovery and ideation to prototyping, usability testing, and final handoff—with minimal handholding.
• Can make dense, data-heavy interfaces feel simple, with strong interaction design and information architecture skills.
• Proficient in Figma, including design systems, components, and variables; comfortable adopting new tools.
• Clear and confident communication with cross‑functional teams to articulate design decisions.
• Availability to work full-time on a 6–12 month contract in a hybrid setup.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end flows and interfaces across customer-facing products and Canopy, our internal console for energy retail operations—from signups to billing and market interactions.
• Own your design work—from problem framing through to polished, developer‑ready handoff—translating PRDs and specs into wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs.
• Simplify complex operational workflows into clear, efficient interfaces for internal teams to work faster and smarter.
• Work within our design system and UX principles, using existing tokens and components, and flag gaps where new patterns are needed.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with product managers, engineers, and operations, articulating design rationale to drive product decisions.
• Take initiative in improving existing workflows and usability through continuous iteration.
