We are looking for Contract Part Time/Full Time Lead Student Care Teacher for our Community Based Student Care in Ang Mo Kio (Near Mayflower MRT)
Responsibilities:
Inspire Learning: Supervise students in homework and academics (Math, English, Science, Chinese) while fostering curiosity and confidence.
Create Joyful Experiences: Plan and lead engaging daily activities, exciting field trips, and fun holiday programmes.
Ensure Safety and Well-Being: Safely fetch students, oversee meals, nap times (lower primary), and timely dismissal while maintaining a secure, clean environment.
Support Development: Guide students with care, track attendance, and provide assistance for those facing challenges, working closely with the Centre Supervisor.
Set the Stage for Success: Create and maintain an organized, welcoming classroom with quality resources for learning and play.
Collaborate and Grow: Participate in centre operations, events, and inter-departmental initiatives to make a lasting impact.
Requirements
Min. O Level, Higher Nitec or Diploma (in any discipline)
Must have a minimum of 1 year experience working in a Community Based Student Care
Familiarity with the Primary School syllabus is an added advantage
A proactive, independent mindset with a passion for working with children and solving classroom challenges.
Working Conditions:
Student Care Teachers work in community-based setting, typically in after-school programs. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, from 10.30am to7pm for Full time and 1pm-7pm for Part Time and in shifts during school holidays. The work environment can be noisy and active, and requires physical stamina and energy to engage and interact with children throughout the day. Classrooms are air-conditioned.
