A leading contracting company is looking for a Contract Manager to manage all aspects of contract administration and quantity surveying. Candidates should possess a degree in Quantity Surveying and have at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry. You will oversee project budgets, maintain contracts, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. This role is critical to the success of project deliverables and requires effective management of multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Location: Woodlands
Working Hours: Mon-Sat 9am-6pm (After probation, Alt Sat 9am-6pm)
Salary: $4000-$6000
Job Responsibilities
•Manage the full spectrum of contract administration and quantity surveying activities from pre- to post-contract stages
•Maintain systematic and accurate records of contracts, correspondence, and related documentation
•Track key contractual obligations, project deliverables, timelines, and milestones
•Oversee contract management including progress payments, variation orders, claims, final accounts, and related correspondences
•Monitor project budgets and expenditures, manage cost changes, and generate regular cost reports for management review
•Collaborate with project teams, consultants, and clients to resolve contractual matters and disputes
•Ensure compliance with contract terms, company policies, and statutory requirements
•Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QS team members and contribute to departmental growth
Requirements
•Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline
•Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record in managerial capacity
•Experience in handing contractual issues on medium scale or public sector projects
•Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills
•A team player with proactive, and hands-on approach person
•Able to manage multiple projects effectively
•Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
