A leading engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a Bid & Tender Manager to manage the tender process for piling and ground engineering projects. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of tendering experience and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field. Strong communication skills and familiarity with geotechnical systems are essential. Opportunities for senior leadership positions are available for those with team management experience.

Qualifications

• Familiar with bored piling, secant piles, diaphragm walls, and other common geotechnical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end tender process for piling and ground engineering projects.
• Review and interpret tender documents, drawings, geotechnical reports, and BOQs.
• Coordinate with estimators, quantity surveyors, design engineers, and project teams.
• Liaise with clients for pre-bid meetings, technical clarifications, and site inspections.
• Ensure all technical and commercial components of bids are submitted accurately and on time.

Job description

Bid & Tender Manager with experience in the pre-contract and tendering phase of foundation piling, ground engineering, or geotechnical projects. This role will lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of technically sound and commercially competitive bids for both public and private sector projects.

1. Individuals with prior team leadership or project management experience may also be considered for a senior leadership position, such as Department Head or General Manager – Bored Piling Division.

2. Bid & Tender Manager - Piling & Ground Engineering, leads the pre-contract and tendering process, managing the full cycle of technical and commercial bid submissions for public and private sector projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end tender process for piling and ground engineering projects — from tender invitation to final submission.

• Review and interpret tender documents, drawings, geotechnical reports, and BOQs.

• Coordinate with estimators, quantity surveyors, design engineers, and project teams to develop complete and compliant tender packages.

• Liaise with clients for pre-bid meetings, technical clarifications, and site inspections.

• Ensure all technical and commercial components of bids are submitted accurately and within deadlines.

• Maintain a library of past project references, method statements, HSE documentation, and bid templates.

• Track tender progress and provide regular bid status updates to senior management.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in tendering for piling, foundation, or ground engineering works.
