Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and reviewing contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are met and complying with legal requirements and company policies.
- Support the negotiation of terms and conditions with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor contract performance, identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies.
- Assist in cost planning, analysis, and budgeting for construction projects.
- Prepare and review detailed progress and cost reports, ensuring accurate reflection of project status.
- Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to verify project progress and associated payments.
- Assist in managing claims process, including preparation, submission, and negotiation of claims.
- Support in resolving any disputes or conflicts that arise in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensure all contract-related activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices.
- Assist in identifying potential risks related to contracts and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication of contract-related information and updates.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all contracts, modifications, correspondence, and related documentation.
- Ensure all contractual documents are well-organized, accessible, and securely stored.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering or equivalent
- At least 4 – 5 years of relevant contract management experience in the civil constructions industries
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Able to start work immediately or within short notice
