A leading company in the construction industry is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with at least 5 years of experience. The role involves managing contractors' claims, preparing budget estimates, and collaborating with external consultants. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields and demonstrate effective time management and multi-tasking skills.
Job Responsibilities:
· Review and prepare Main Contractors’ claims and Direct Contractors’ claims; including Extensions of Time
· Prepare and update project budget and actual costs.
· Update cash flow projections.
· Award Contracts (preparation of LOA and agreements)
· To Prepare Consultants’ Services Agreement and to prepare all claims made.
· To Liaise and Lead the External QS Consultants on the Tender Systems and Tender Documents; including but not limited to cost estimates, tender processes, tender briefing, cost engineering, tender awards, VOs liaision and checking with external Cost Consultants, final accounts settlement, and Letter of Awards (or Letter of Intent) drafting and liaising with ineternal Legal departments.
· To prepare all Variation Orders claims and to review External QS Consultants Financial Statements.
· To prepare contractors’ final account agreement.
· To attend progress/ technical meetings including all cost and technical internal meetings.
· Be independent and mature in your works and characters.
· To have proper time management at all aspects.
· Any other ad-hoc projects
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor Degree of Quantity Surveying / Building Cost Economics / Construction Management
· Minimal 5 years’ experience in construction industry
· Previous Experiences in Developer and Consultant QS is preferred.
· Resourceful, independent
· Team player with good hands-on multi-tasking abilities
· Work experience in Singapore and preferably in Indonesia.
