Job description

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and provide responses for tender bidding, submission, budgeting and profitability analysis.
• Overseeing contract preparation, negotiation and execution.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions throughout project life cycles.
• Managing contractual claims to protect commercial interest.
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks, resolving disputes as needed.
• Develop and implement contract management procedures and best practices, provide formal responses to contractual matters.
• Review and negotiate contract terms with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress and cost control to ensure alignment with contractual obligations.
• Prepare and manage progress claims, variations, and final account settlements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
• Proven experience as a Contract Manager in the construction or engineering industry.
• In-depth understanding of contract law, construction contracts and dispute management (e.g., FIDIC, JCT).
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and risk management.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage complex documentation.
• Possess Good interpersonal & leadership qualities and good communication & writing skills.
• Independent, positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility. Conflict management and problem-solving abilities.
• At least 5-7 years relevant experience in the Interior industry in Singapore.
