Responsibilities:
- Prepare and provide responses for tender bidding, submission, budgeting and profitability analysis.
- Overseeing contract preparation, negotiation and execution.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions throughout project life cycles.
- Managing contractual claims to protect commercial interest.
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks, resolving disputes as needed.
- Develop and implement contract management procedures and best practices, provide formal responses to contractual matters.
- Review and negotiate contract terms with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress and cost control to ensure alignment with contractual obligations.
- Prepare and manage progress claims, variations, and final account settlements.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
- Proven experience as a Contract Manager in the construction or engineering industry.
- In-depth understanding of contract law, construction contracts and dispute management (e.g., FIDIC, JCT).
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and risk management.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage complex documentation.
- Possess Good interpersonal & leadership qualities and good communication & writing skills.
- Independent, positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility. Conflict management and problem-solving abilities.
- At least 5-7 years relevant experience in the Interior industry in Singapore.
