Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and variation orders.
  • Assist in tender preparation, including calling for quotations, evaluating submissions, and compiling bid documentation.
  • Monitor and track contract compliance, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of contracts and correspondence.
  • Support project teams in handling contractual claims, EOT (Extension of Time), and cost variation matters.
  • Assist in drafting of letters, notices, and other contractual correspondence.
  • Conduct cost analysis, budgeting, and progress claims verification.
  • Assist in procurement activities and support negotiation efforts with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements, including BCA and MOM compliance.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in contract administration within the construction or engineering industry.
  • Familiar with local construction contracts such as PSSCOC, SIA, or FIDIC (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and commercial practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and contract management tools.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work independently under pressure.
