Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Production Technician to support biotechnology/pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will execute production activities, operate equipment, and ensure data accuracy in manufacturing records.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in Chemical or Bio/Pharma Engineering and up to 2 years' related experience, with knowledge of cGMP and aseptic operations. This role also emphasizes 5S housekeeping and safety compliance, with ongoing competency

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in chemical/biomedical/pharma engineering and related discipline.
• Up to 2 years of biotechnology/pharmaceutical experience.
• Familiarity with cGMP manufacturing, batch records, or aseptic operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute routine and critical production activities in accordance with established SOPs and cGMP requirements.
• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and processes to support day-to-day production activities.
• Follow manufacturing instructions and accurately record production data in Electronic Batch Management (EBM) systems, Master Batch Records (MBRs) and Master Formulation Records (MFRs), where applicable.
• Perform equipment monitoring and identify abnormalities or process-related issues.
• Perform basic laboratory activities including sampling, pH and conductivity measurements.
• Apply appropriate aseptic techniques when handling products and materials where required.
• Troubleshoot and support resolution of process-related issues during manufacturing operations.
• Support revisions and improvements to manufacturing procedures and documentation.
• Perform scheduled cleaning, assembly and disassembly of process equipment.
• Maintain good 5S housekeeping and ensure production areas are kept clean and organised.
• Complete required technical and competency training within stipulated timelines.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and promptly escape safety issues, operational risks or equipment concerns.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering or related discipline, with up to 2 years of relevant biotechnology/pharmaceutical experience
• Knowledge or experience in pharmaceutical / biotechnology manufacturing operations will be advantageous.
• Familiarity with cGMP manufacturing, batch records, process equipment or aseptic operations is preferred.
