Job summary

PERSOL, on behalf of our client in the semiconductor manufacturing equipment and advanced electronics industry, is seeking a Contract Assistant Engineer to join the team in Woodlands, Singapore. The role focuses on applying engineering principles to maintenance of equipment in a manufacturing setting, aiming to minimise production delays.

You will perform preventive maintenance, ensure safe work practices, and pass on updates to the next shift while adhering to EHS standards.

Qualifications

• Nitec, Higher Nitec or Poly Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Some relevant experience with semiconductor equipment is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous, organized and a resourceful team player.
• Willing to work in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) work according to guidelines and procedures.
• Ensure safe and proper work according to procedures.
• Update PM work and pass down to next shift.
• Ensure compliance with EHS policy and standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
