Job description

Basic Purpose/Accountabilities:

Reporting to the Team Lead, Contract Management, the Contract Analyst is responsible for supporting the functions of contracts management in the Asia Pacific region. This role will involve coordinating and maintaining the trading agreements which support the buying and selling of physical crude oil, refined products, and renewable products with Phillips 66 core values and visions to ensure the business is a high-performance work unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handle legal contracts (e.g., Purchase and Sales Agreement, Storage Agreements, Tenders etc.)
  • Co-ordinate negotiations with third parties around any contract discrepancies.
  • Responsible for negotiation and management of Brokerage Agreement, Clearing Broker Agreement, and Brokers’ commission.
  • Evaluate and enhance processes, rules and protocols for administration and execution of contracts and agreements.
  • Effective communicator who shares knowledge proactively and has the ability to effectively interact in a team environment.

Basic / Required Qualifications/ Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor of Business, Commerce, Maritime Studies, Laws, Supply Chain Management, or any related field
  • Knowledge and experience of the energy market in Asia.
  • Experience in drafting and reviewing contracts and agreements would be an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Results oriented with ability to think and act decisively and independently under situations of extreme pressure and change.
  • Possess teamwork ability, ability to work in a small team and provide cover for other team members.
  • Self-starter with a desire to grow the Phillips 66 Asia and global business and develop in the role.
