ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you a purpose-driven, digitally-savvy storyteller with a passion for social good?

We’re seeking a strategic content leader who can bring the story of Temasek Trust to life – through powerful, people-centric content that resonates, informs, and inspires.

In this role, you will be central to shaping our owned content strategy and storytelling platforms, collaborating across our ecosystem to expand mindshare and drive meaningful engagement. From catalysing change narratives in philanthropy and impact investing to elevating community voices, you will be critical in helping us connect with audiences and spark action for impact across the region and beyond.

Role: Content Strategy & Development, Communications & Engagement, Temasek Trust (one-year contract)

Reporting to: Head, Communications & Engagement, Temasek Trust

Responsibilities:

  • Content strategy, development, and optimisation: Advise stakeholders on content strategy and storytelling approaches that align with organisational objectives and audience needs. Develop content across formats (e.g., social media posts across formats, newsletter articles, video clips, etc.) and platforms (e.g., social media channels, websites, etc.). Optimise their performance using data and audience insights to inform content direction, iterate formats, and improve engagement rates across platforms.
  • Amplification: Conceptualise and oversee the execution of media amplification campaigns to extend our reach.
  • Community growth: Build and nurture online communities on Temasek Trust’s owned platforms.
  • Agency management: Manage content and media agencies to ensure seamless development, timely delivery, and performance tracking aligned with KPIs.
  • Stakeholder and ecosystem engagement: Identify and collaborate with key opinion leaders, influencers, media, and content partners to co-create and amplify impact-focused narratives.
  • Events and programme content: Plan and execute owned content for key stakeholder engagements and events, ensuring alignment with brand and messaging priorities.

MUST-HAVES

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Mass Communication, or equivalent
  • 5 to 10 years’ related experience in communications/content development and in implementing effective media amplification campaigns
  • Collaborator and team-player adept at stakeholder management
  • Self-starter with proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and spoken), and presentation skills
  • Strong proficiency in writing and content development across formats; familiarity with content related to philanthropy and impact investing is advantageous but not a must
  • Demonstrated ability to convey complex and abstract topics in a relatable manner
  • Social media-savviness and strong understanding of what makes good content for platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok
