Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film, Photography, Media Production, or a closely related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in videography and photography, including experience with various camera systems, lighting, and audio equipment
• Skilled in video editing and post-production using DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro
• Strong knowledge of visual storytelling and filming direction
• Knowledge of trends and best practices in visual content creation
• Knowledge of Microsoft software and Canva
• Gov-related agency experience advantageous
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude with a willingness to adapt

Responsibilities

• Location scouting, mood boarding, and storyboarding for pre-production.
• Create platform-optimized content tailored to audience engagement.
• Collaborate with branding and content teams on strategy.
• Maintain strong organization to ensure timely delivery of content.
• Assist with occasional evening or weekend community engagements.

• Understand the unique requirements of each social media platform and create content that is optimized for audience engagement and results.
• Work collaboratively within the team on branding and content strategies
• Strong organizational and project management skills to ensure timely delivery of content
• Support occasional evening or weekend community engagements when required.
• Provide administrative support when required
