Job description

At GO, we don’t need another “content creator.”

We need a conversion-minded operator - someone who can write sharp copy, build lean funnels, and move fast with Stacy and the sales team to turn ideas into leads, and leads into revenue.

You should be obsessed with performance: clickthrough rates, conversion flows, copy that pulls. If you’ve studied Russell Brunson or Peng Joon, you’re already speaking our language.

What You’ll Own

  • Write persuasive, clear marketing copy for email, landing pages, LinkedIn, ads, and decks
  • Build and optimize funnels for outreach, follow-up, and client onboarding
  • Help turn case studies, proposals, and event recaps into lead-gen content
  • Collaborate with design to align visuals with copy (you’re not touching Canva)
  • Create cold and warm email sequences for new service lines and campaigns
  • Manage SEO-focused content to support long-tail discovery
  • Track performance - every asset you create must tie back to leads or sales

Must-Haves

  • 2–4 years experience writing direct-response or marketing copy
  • Experience writing for service businesses (bonus: events, B2B, or marketing agencies)
  • Built or written for live funnels (lead magnets, VSLs, webinars, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of buyer psychology and email marketing strategy
  • Bonus: used tools like HighLevel, ConvertKit, or even just Zapier + Notion to automate flows
  • Can show examples of copy that converted (not just pretty words)

Your First 90 Days

  • Build + test 2 high-converting lead magnets
  • Deploy 3 email sequences tied to D&D / team building / conference funnels
  • Help repurpose 5 past GO events into content pieces that drive inbound interest
  • Support the rollout of the new referral program with copy + funnel build
