MTS GLOBAL PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a hands-on Consulting Engineer to support enterprise networking for a healthcare customer. You will be the technical contact for complex incidents, coordinating with vendor TAC and internal teams to restore services and identify root causes.

Focus areas include Cisco Enterprise Wireless, SDWAN, Data Centre ACI, Catalyst Center and firewall technologies, ensuring reliable connectivity across critical healthcare environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 46 years of enterprise networking experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of Cisco Enterprise Wireless, Cisco SDWAN and Cisco Data Centre ACI.
• Experience with Catalyst Center, formerly DNA Center, and enterprise firewall technologies.
• Strong routing, switching, network segmentation and highvailability understanding.
• Proven troubleshooting using CLI, logs, packet captures and monitoring tools.
• Willingness to support onall rotations and after-hours work.
• Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and operational support across enterprise wireless, SDWAN, Cisco ACI, Catalyst Center and firewalls.
• Lead investigation and resolution of highrvisity incidents, including live-network troubleshooting, log analysis and packet captures.
• Own technical escalations through to resolution, coordinating with vendor TAC, engineering teams, partners and customer stakeholders.
• Perform rootause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve network stability.
• Support network changes, maintenance and upgrades while minimising disruption to clinical and administrative operations.
• Troubleshoot wireless connectivity, authentication, roaming, coverage and performance issues.
• Investigate SDWAN routing, connectivity, policy, controlrane and datarane issues.
• Support ACI fabric operations, including access policies, tenants, bridge domains, EPGs, contracts and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Use Catalyst Center for provisioning, assurance, monitoring and issue investigation.
• Troubleshoot firewall policies, NAT, VPNs, high availability and traffic flows.
• Provide clear incident updates and explain technical findings to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Prepare RCA reports, operational procedures, technical recommendations and knowledge articles.
• Share knowledge and mentor other engineers.
• Participate in onall support, shift coverage and maintenance activities as required.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands‑on Consulting Engineer to support enterprise networking infrastructure for a healthcare customer in Singapore.

You will be a key technical contact for complex network incidents and escalations, working closely with customers, vendor technical support and internal delivery teams to restore services, identify root causes and prevent recurring issues.

The role covers Cisco Enterprise Wireless, SD‑WAN, Data Centre ACI, Catalyst Center and firewall technologies, with particular emphasis on maintaining reliable connectivity across critical healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and operational support across enterprise wireless, SD‑WAN, Cisco ACI, Catalyst Center and firewalls.

• Lead the investigation and resolution of high‑severity incidents, including live‑network troubleshooting, log analysis and packet captures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• At least 4–6 years of relevant enterprise networking experience.

• Hands‑on working knowledge of Cisco Enterprise Wireless, Cisco SD‑WAN and Cisco Data Centre ACI, with strong expertise in at least one core technology.

• Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center, formerly DNA Center, and enterprise firewall technologies.

• Strong understanding of routing, switching, network segmentation and high‑availability environments.

• Proven troubleshooting skills using CLI, logs, packet captures and network monitoring tools.

• Experience supporting production networks and resolving complex, service‑impacting incidents.

• Ability to take ownership of issues, manage competing priorities and remain structured under pressure.

• Strong customer communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

• CCNP or equivalent certification.

• Willingness to support on‑call rotations and work outside normal business hours when required.

• Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.

Preferred Experience

• CCIE or relevant specialist certifications in wireless, SD‑WAN or data centre networking.

• Healthcare, public‑sector or other regulated, business‑critical network experience.

• Previous experience in vendor TAC, high‑touch technical support, consulting or managed services.

• Familiarity with medical device connectivity, healthcare network segmentation and data protection expectations.

• Scripting or automation experience using Python, Ansible or Linux shell.
