Job description

You will be a core part of our strategic advisory team, guiding technology companies as they navigate complex and fast-evolving regulatory frontiers - from AI governance to platform regulation to data policy. Whether you're analysing a new regulatory proposal, mapping a fragmented regional landscape, or building relationships with policymakers and the broader ecosystem, your work will directly inform how clients engage and navigate these issues.

This is a launchpad for ambitious, analytically rigorous operators ready to deepen and apply their expertise in technology policy, while operating in an integrated public affairs context - connecting regulatory analysis to narrative and stakeholder engagement as a trusted advisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and deliver discrete client workstreams end-to‑end, spanning regulatory research, policy analysis, and intelligence gathering across AI, platforms, data, and other frontier technology sectors
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory and legislative developments across key Asia‑Pacific markets, distilling implications into clear recommendations for clients
  • Lead the development of high‑quality outputs including briefing notes, regulatory trackers, stakeholder maps, and policy submissions - aligned to clients' objectives
  • Partner with senior team members to shape regulatory strategy and contribute meaningfully to internal and external discussions and presentations
  • Collaborate across policy, narrative, and creative teams to produce integrated, coherent deliverables
  • Support the development of junior team members through guidance, feedback, and quality control on outputs
What We're Looking For
  • Demonstrated ability to drive workstreams effectively towards strong outcomes
  • Developing expertise in tech policy domains (AI, data, platforms, emerging tech), with the ability to think and operate in an integrated public affairs context
  • Sound judgement, professionalism, and intellectual rigour
  • Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments with evolving priorities
Experience & skills
You should have:
  • 4-6 years of experience in tech policy, government relations, regulatory affairs, consulting, or a related field
  • Strong research, analytical writing, and critical thinking skills, with comfort interpreting regulatory and legislative texts
  • Sound understanding of political, economic, or regulatory developments across Asia‑Pacific
You’ll stand out if you:
  • Have experience in technology, AI, or emerging technology policy specifically
  • Have worked in government, regulatory bodies, industry associations, consultancies, or tech companies' policy teams
  • Enjoy translating complex regulatory developments into clear, actionable strategy
