Consultant / Senior Consultant (Medical Oncology)

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic consultant to join the medical oncology service at the National University Cancer Institute Singapore (NCIS). Medical Oncologists at NCIS are involved in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer using a wide range of modalities, including novel therapies in clinical trials.

As a Consultant / Senior Consultant, you will be required to perform duties as directed by the Chairman, Medical Board, and Head of Department, in accordance with policies and guidelines set by the National University Health System (NUHS) and the Ministry of Health (MOH), Singapore.

Our integrated healthcare system allows you to leverage clinical excellence, research, and educational resources across institutions within NUHS. You may also be deployed to other NUHS institutions from time to time.

Job Requirements

  1. Active in clinical practice;
  2. Possess basic medical and postgraduate qualifications from accredited medical universities or medical schools, registrable with the Singapore Medical Council;
  3. Completed Advanced Specialty Training or equivalent, with at least two years of experience at the consultant level;
  4. Must be successfully registered with the Singapore Medical Council and accredited by the Specialist Accreditation Board, Ministry of Health;
  5. Able to work independently with demonstrated competence in managing patients in a multidisciplinary environment; and
  6. Confident, proactive, and a good team player.
