Overview

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic consultant to join the clinical haematology service in the National University Cancer Institute Singapore (NCIS). Haematologists in NCIS provide the full spectrum of benign and malignant clinical care. A candidate with broad interest and experience in benign, malignant, laboratory haematology and transfusion will be favourably considered.

As a Consultant / Senior Consultant, you will be required to carry out the duties as directed by the Chairman, Medical Board and Head of Department in accordance with the policies and guidelines set by the National University Health System (NUHS) and the Ministry of Health (MOH), Singapore.

As an integrated healthcare system, our combined resources allow you to leverage on our clinical excellence, research and education aspects of each institution in your pursuit of professional knowledge and expertise. You may from time to time be deployed to other institutions within NUHS.

Job Requirements
  • Active in clinical practice;
  • Possess basic medical and postgraduate qualifications from the accredited medical universities or medical schools which are registrable with the Singapore Medical Council;
  • Completed Advanced Specialty Training or equivalent (CCST) with FRCPath or FRCPA, with two years experience at consultant level;
  • Must be successfully registered with the Singapore Medical Council and accredited by the Specialist Accreditation Board, Ministry of Health;
  • Able to work independently with demonstrated competence in managing patients in a multi-discipline environment; and
  • Confident, takes initiatives and a good team player
