A leading consulting firm specializing in environmental and biodiversity assessments seeks an Environmental Consultant to conduct surveys and report on environmental performance. The role requires a degree in ecology or equivalent, experience in field surveys, and strong communication skills. Depending on the level (Consultant or Senior Consultant), varying years of experience in relevant surveys are required, making this an excellent opportunity for both mid-level and senior professionals.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct environmental and biodiversity baseline surveys of different habitat types in Singapore and South East Asia region.
- Prepare statistical analyses on environmental performance and submit technical reports to relevant authorities, including EIA. BIA, and EMMP.
- Provide support for other tasks, including administrative and business development pending the needs of the company.
- Provide leadership and building capability for the company
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited institution in ecology or equivalent
- Experience conducting field surveys in Singapore
- Excellent written and communication skills
- For consultant, possess min. 2 to 3 years relevant experience in fauna survey and EMMP
- For Senior Consultant, possess min. 5 to 8 years relevant experience in fauna survey and EIA/ BIA
