Job description

Consultant / Senior Consultant, Consulting (Business Analyst) (2025)

You will be part of our growing consulting business at Forvis Mazars with opportunities for growth and development in Finance Process and Technology Transformation. You will contribute to our core delivery team, helping clients navigate complex changes, identify transformation opportunities, optimize processes, and achieve successful outcomes.

Responsibilities
  1. Program Delivery: Collaborate with our delivery team to:
  • Assess current policies, processes, and systems to identify inefficiencies
  • Document 'as-is' state processes through logical flows and narratives
  • Evaluate and recommend solutions to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness
  • Prepare stakeholder engagement materials for program delivery
  • Support other projects such as sustainability, controls review, and policy development within the transformation program
  1. Digital & Technology: Assist clients in aligning processes with digital and technological solutions, including ERP systems, finance ecosystems, robotic process automation, data analytics platforms, and emerging technologies. Tasks include:
  • Develop user requirements and process design documents (business flows, data, and technology relationships)
  • Evaluate technology feasibility in collaboration with business and IT teams
  • Facilitate development and user acceptance testing as a subject matter expert
  1. Stakeholder Management: Engage with key client stakeholders to ensure strategy, process, and technology requirements align with program objectives.
Requirements
  • Related tertiary education (Accounting & Finance, Risk Management, Business) with at least 2-3 years of experience, preferably in consulting or a fast-paced environment
  • Motivated, enthusiastic, and capable of working independently using technology and solutions
  • Experience as an internal auditor or process and controls specialist is an advantage
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willing to travel regionally as required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders via various methods
