Job summary

Rolling Arrays Consulting PTE. LTD. is hiring an Interface Developer to build Oracle HCM integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

You will develop, test, and deploy integration flows between Oracle HCM Cloud and third-party systems, guided by functional Interface Design Documents and translated into production-grade OIC implementations. You will configure adapters, perform data transformations, and ensure robust fault handling while deploying across environments and documenting results

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of OIC development experience on live implementations or AMS projects.
• Hands-on experience building REST and SOAP integration flows in OIC.
• Practical XSLT mapping experience with multi-element transformations.
• Experience configuring OIC fault handling and error reprocessing.
• Ability to deploy integrations across environments and validate post-deploy.
• Strong technical documentation discipline for handover to support.

POSITION SUMMARY

RAC is hiring an Interface Developer to build Oracle HCM integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). You will develop, test, and deploy integration flows between Oracle HCM Cloud and third-party systems, working from functional Interface Design Documents and translating them into production-grade OIC implementations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Build Oracle Integration Cloud flows from functional Interface Design Documents — implementing trigger, adapter connections, orchestration logic, data transformation, and error handling without requiring functional re-explanation of the business requirement
• Configure OIC adapters across the full HCM integration surface — Oracle HCM Cloud adapter for REST API calls, HDL-based operations, and Atom Feed subscriptions; REST and SOAP adapters for third-party systems; FTP adapter for SFTP file transfer; and database adapter for ATP persistence patterns
• Build XSLT data transformations — field mapping, conditional logic, array iteration for multi-record payloads, data type conversions, and null value handling
• Configure fault handling — scope-level fault handlers, global error handlers, retry policies, and alert notifications for failures that require human intervention
• Deploy integrations across environments — configuring environment-specific connection parameters, promoting via OIC Projects, deploying to Test/UAT/Prod, and validating post-deployment in each environment
• Perform unit testing and contribute to SIT — building test scenarios for happy path, error conditions, and edge cases, documenting results, and resolving defects to sign-off

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 2–3 years of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) development experience on live implementation or AMS projects
• Hands-on experience building REST and SOAP integration flows in OIC — not training sandbox experience
• Practical XSLT mapping experience — can build multi-element transformations with conditional logic independently
• Experience configuring OIC fault handling and understanding the error hospital for reprocessing failed instances
• Ability to deploy integrations across environments and validate post-deployment without functional team support

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Oracle Cloud Platform Application Integration 2025 Professional — the OIC certification; the primary target credential for an Interface Developer; at Consultant level this should be actively in progress or completed
• Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications HCM Process Essentials certified — the foundational HCM credential; understanding the HCM data model makes integration development significantly more effective
• Oracle ATP (Autonomous Transaction Processing) or ADW hands-on experience for integration persistence and parking lot patterns
• Java or Python scripting for payload pre-processing and transformation logic that OIC cannot handle natively

• Technical documentation discipline — produces handover documentation that the support team can use 12 months after go-live without calling the SI
• Build-from-spec discipline — implements from the IDD without re-engaging the functional team for clarification; questions the spec before building, not during
• Deployment rigour — validates post-deployment in every environment before declaring a build complete
• Cross-functional collaboration — works alongside functional designers and client IT teams without creating communication gaps
