Job description

As a member of our audit team, your primary responsibility will be to conduct onshore audits for our member firms. This involves collaborating with member firms to provide audit support for their engagements. You will also be tasked with ensuring the quality delivery of our services for the onshore engagement team, as well as ensuring compliance with engagement plans, internal quality standards, and risk management procedures. Working closely with the onshore in-charge, Manager, Director, and onshore audit clients will be crucial for the successful execution of audit strategies.To excel in this role, you should hold qualifications such as CA, ACCA, or CPA, and have 0-2 years of post-qualification work experience in the commercial sector, Assurance Services, or a similar environment like Assurance and Accounting firms. Additionally, having experience in IFRS and industry sectors such as Technology, Media and Telecommunication (TMT), Manufacturing, and Service sectors will be beneficial.In terms of skills, you must be able to thrive under deadlines and demanding client conditions. Being a good team player with strong interpersonal skills is essential for effective collaboration within the team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for clear and concise interactions with clients and colleagues. Demonstrating high professional ethics, having a solid understanding and practical experience with Accounting Standards like Ind AS, US GAAP, and IFRS are also key requirements.Moreover, possessing strong critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills will aid in problem-solving and decision-making processes during audits. You should be comfortable working in a diverse, cross-functional, international environment, and be open to collaborating across different time zones as needed.
