Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in BC/DR, risk management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a Data Centre Environment.
  • Strong knowledge of BC/DR standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, etc.).
  • Proven experience conducting BIAs, risk assessments, and plan development.
  • Familiarity with crisis management frameworks and incident response protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Overview

As a Business Continuity Management (BCM) Consultant, you will manage Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Services Work. You will be involved in developing, implementing, and maintaining Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) programs for the Data Centre. This role requires a proactive professional capable of analyzing risks, creating response strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure organizational resilience in the face of potential disruptions.

What you will do
  • Implement and manage Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery frameworks and infrastructure services complying to BCM standards and best practices.
  • Lead the support team members that are key to the successful delivery of the services
  • Manage change to service projects’ scope and schedule to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Understand clients’ business environment and challenges. Applies knowledge to address clients’ issues.
  • Apply information gathering methods, tools and techniques, which are appropriate to the information required and sources available e.g. focus groups, structured interviews, design of questionnaires/surveys, observation, statistical analysis, etc.
  • Observe and analyse information to identify trends and issues, identifies root causes to problems, employs structured approaches to generate ideas, evaluates and selects actions. Recommends courses of action that are supported by sound rationale, objective facts and research.
  • Craft clear, well organised reports/messages/papers and bringing out the value to the customer.
  • Manage customer relationship during the projects deliveries through strong governance and communications skills.
  • Provide pre-sales support for Request For Proposals by sizing delivery cost, writing of proposals, customized response for bid questions and presentation on Service Projects Implementation to potential customers.
  • Ensure that customer projects are completed to a high quality and to the customer’s satisfaction.
  • Manage and maintains Recovery Centre’s certifications and audits requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in BC/DR, risk management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a Data Centre Environment
  • Strong knowledge of BC/DR standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301,etc.)
