Job summary

TJ ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a detail-oriented Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations in Singapore. The role requires strong leadership to manage a team, enforce policies, and drive safe, efficient work practices across shifts.

The ideal candidate will have proven supervisory experience, excellent communication, and the ability to resolve conflicts while maintaining production quality and safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Supervisor or similar leadership role.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems.
• Basic computer skills (for reporting, scheduling,etc.).

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and monitor the performance of workers to ensure productivity.
• Assign tasks to team members and ensure they are completed on time and to the required standard.
• Train and guide workers to improve their skills and meet job requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor work quality and perform quality control checks.
• Resolve conflicts between team members and address any performance issues.
• Communicate effectively with management, providing updates and reporting issues as they arise.
• Manage schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during shifts.
• Ensure proper use of equipment and tools, and organize maintenance when necessary.
