Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensuring they are followed.
  • Resource Management: Managing labor, materials, and equipment to optimize efficiency.
  • Safety Management: Enforcing safety regulations, conducting safety briefings, and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Quality Control: Inspecting work, ensuring adherence to specifications, and identifying and resolving quality issues.
  • Team Leadership: Supervising and coordinating the activities of construction workers, subcontractors, and other tradespeople.
  • Communication: Effectively communicating with project managers, engineers, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the construction process.
  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate records, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety reports.
  • Budget Management: Monitoring project costs and ensuring work is completed within budget.
  • Schedule Management: Monitoring project progress and adjusting schedules as needed.
