Job summary

HO SEOW GAI CONSTRUCTION is seeking a capable site foreman to supervise on-site workers and oversee construction operations. You will manage daily timecards, coordinate with sub-contractors, and report project status to the project manager.

The role includes material planning, quality checks, and progress control for structural works. The position requires overseeing safety compliance and collaborating with the main contractor during inspections of rebar and formwork, with overtime and weekend

Responsibilities

• Fetch and arrange the workers to work daily, and record the timecard for workers daily
• Supervise all workers on site, ensuring proper execution of project site operations
• Oversee construction projects and supervise workers. The general foreman responsibilities include ordering building supplies, scheduling equipment maintenance as needed, and training new construction employees.
• Coordinating with sub-contractors at site works and resolve site issues
• Report to project manager on project status
• Planning and order material
• Quality check and control for finished works
• Progress control on structure works
• Control the quality /budget/site progress
• Monitor site safety and ensure that all safety requirements are enforced
• Follow the main contractor to inspection the rebar and formwork
• Any other related ad-hoc duties assign by superior/engineer from time to time
• Will be required to perform overtime work, weekend works or working with challenging client from time to time
