Waterproofing (Open roof area) :
- Site Inspection: Conducting thorough inspections of the construction site to identify areas that require waterproofing. This includes assessing the condition of surfaces, joints, potential water entry points, and PU Grouting.
- Material Selection: Choosing appropriate waterproofing materials based on site conditions, local building codes, and project requirements.
- Supervision of Application: Overseeing the application of waterproofing materials, ensuring proper techniques are followed to create a seamless and effective barrier against water intrusion.
- Quality Control: Conducting regular quality checks to ensure that waterproofing work meets industry standards and project specifications.
Electrical Duties:
- Installation Oversight: Supervising the installation of electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components according to approved plans and local building codes.
- Coordination with Electricians: Working closely with electricians to ensure that electrical work is carried out safely and in compliance with industry standards.
- Testing and Commissioning: Conducting tests to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems and coordinating with relevant parties for any necessary adjustments or corrections.
- Safety Compliance: Ensuring that all electrical work is performed in a safe manner, with proper grounding, insulation, and protection measures in place.
General Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Supervising a team of workers, assigning tasks, and providing guidance and support to ensure that work is carried out efficiently and to the required quality standards.
- Communication: Maintaining clear and effective communication with other stakeholders, including project managers, architects, subcontractors, and clients.
- Documentation: Keeping accurate records of work progress, materials used, and any incidents or issues that arise during the construction process.
In addition to these specific duties, a Construction Supervisor in this role will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing schedules, and coordinating with other trades to ensure a smooth and successful construction process. They may also be involved in budget management, procurement of materials, and problem-solving as issues arise on-site. On-site will majorily be outdoors under the sun.
Minimum of 2 years experience required.
