Job summary

MERKY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site Supervisor to plan, coordinate and supervise on-site activities for a major Singapore project. You will report to the Project Manager and Site Director, ensure safety and quality, and manage manpower, equipment and materials on site.

The role focuses on controlling progress, verifying drawings and instructions, reducing wastage, and delivering progress reports with corrective actions to keep the project on track.

Qualifications

• Review drawings, specifications and instructions; highlight discrepancies and changes to Manager/Site Manager.
• Supervise site works.
• Coordinate site progress, dispatch of manpower, plant and machinery, mobilization and access areas.
• Confirm site progress for progress claims and corrective actions.
• Verify works done by workers.
• Receive and confirm client variations.
• Raise purchase requisitions and check materials delivered to site.
• Analyze deviations from the project program and propose actions.
• Provide feedback on project performance to the Manager.
• Manage quality of work on site.
• Minimize wastage within targets and ensure housekeeping.
• Transport workers.
• Ensure safety on site.

• Check thoroughly drawings, specification and instructions received and also highlight their discrepancies and work changes to the Manager/Site Manager. He also monitors and updates drawings.
• Supervise site works.
• Co-ordinate matters pertaining to site progress, manpower, plant and machinery deployment, mobilisation schedule, storage and access areas.
• Confirm the site progress reports for the purpose of progress claims, monitoring project activities and proposed corrective actions.
• Verify works done by workers.
• Receive and confirm client’s instructions of variation works.
• Raise purchase requisition and check materials delivered to site.
• Analyse the cause and effect of actual and expected deviations from the current project program.
• Provide feedback of project performance to the Manager.
• Manage the quality of work at site.
• Control and minimise wastage within the set targets.
• Ensure housekeeping.
