Job summary

RRECRUITER PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Safety Coordinator for our busy Kallang site. You will conduct daily safety walks, enforce MOM safety rules, and support WSH investigations.

The role requires a Certificate in Safety Coordinators Course, at least 2 years’ experience in building and construction, and the ability to lead toolbox talks and maintain records.

You must be proactive, able to work under pressure, and communicate clearly with supervisors and workers on safety expectations.

Qualifications

• Certification: Certificate in Safety Coordinators Course from an approved institute.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the Building and Construction industry.
• Core Competencies: Proactive problem solver with strong interpersonal skills, high stress tolerance, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced site environment.

Responsibilities

• Site Inspections & Compliance: Conduct daily safety walks, monitor supervisor and worker adherence to Safe Work Procedures, and enforce MOM safety and environmental regulations.
• WSHO Support & Audit Follow-up: Assist the WSH Officer with incident/accident investigations, close out safety audit findings, and maintain comprehensive daily safety records.
• Safety Training & Meetings: Lead weekly mass toolbox meetings, brief site teams on safety protocols, and assist in organizing monthly Safety Committee meetings and documentation.
• Site Logistics & Coordination: Partner with site supervisors to improve general housekeeping, worksite cleanliness, and operational hazard controls.
