Job summary

Advanced Coretrades is seeking a Construction Foreman to coordinate operations and supervise workers at on-site construction sites. You will serve as the reference point for workers and supervisors, and you will drive project completion with strong organizational skills and a focus on safety.

You should have proven experience as a construction foreman, reading drawings and blueprints, and the ability to manage priorities while ensuring quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as construction Foreman.
• In-depth knowledge of Construction procedures, equipment and OSH guidelines.
• Able to read drawings, plans and blueprints.
• Excellent organization and leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate and report effectively.
• Aptitude in math.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Able to understand structural drawing, specifications and requirements.
• High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter etc...).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
• Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew
• Allocate general and daily responsibilities
• Supervise and train workers
• Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
• Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
• Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
• Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget.
• Resolve problems when arise
• Report problems when they arise
• Report on progress to managers, engineers etc...
